David Yonggi Cho (formerly known as Paul Yungi Cho) is a South Korean Christian minister. He is founder of the Yoido Full Gospel Church (Assemblies of God), the world's largest congregation, with a claimed membership of 830,000 (as of 2007).[1] He was senior pastor from 1968 to 2008. In February 2014, he was convicted for tax evasion, given a 3-year suspended prison sentence, and fined the equivalent of almost US$5 million.?In June 2016, this incident became a non-prosecution because of "no suspicion".
